March Madness

The month of March is not only the gateway to shorts, flip flops, short sleeved shirts, longer days, it is the beholder of the most birthdays than any other thirty one day span of the year.

On Saturday, Jake and I went to dinner at Japanese Kitchen. I rekindled my romance for the hot and spicy sauce (I really just think it's mayo, rooster sauce and teriyaki) but either way it was DELICIOUS. The funny thing is, we went at 4:30. Apparently they were booked because there was a WWE wrestling match in town.  It was nice to catch up as a couple and not worry about entertaining Violet while one of us shovels food in their mouth.

Sunday, we had some friends over for a baked potato feast. I wanted something EASY and sometimes bbq-ing is so cumbersome. POTATOES IT WAS.

Since we do quite have a back yard yet we walked over to the nearest public grass we could find and played some good ol' fashioned dangle ball in honor of the springing of... spring.
