you win some, you lose some..

we are finally half way settled into our new home.

we still have boxes to unpack and things lingering in shafter and our window coverings wont come in for another 3 weeks! i feel like i am living in a fish bowl and all the neighbors can just walk by and gawk at us... maybe that's not the case but it's really bright ALL THE TIME.

we also do not have cable, nor do we have internet ( i am at my mom's house tickling myself with things of the 21 century)

violet is growing so fast! what a cliche mom thing to say, but it's true! we wake up in the morning and i'd almost swear he head has doubled in size!

she is smiling and "cooing" and when i place her on her stomach, she is about ready to flip over on her back.

she also have this obsession with ceiling fans and lights, which is completely normal. she stares at them for a good 15 min and decides it's too much for her to handle and starts crying.
